Thrust Spherical Roller Bearings are containing convex rollers. They have a self aligning capability and are free of any influence of mounting error or shaft deflection. These bearings have a significantly increased roller diameter and incorporate the maximum number of rollers, thus achieving both a high load capacity and a longer service life.
For horizontal shaft or high speed application, machined brass cages are recommended. E type with pressed steel cages for high load capacity is also available.
