Thrust Ball Bearings

Thrust ball bearings are designed to carry axial loads with no radial load carrying capacity. They comprise of a shaft washer, a housing washer, and a ball and cage assembly and are separable. These bearings have raceways on the face of the washers.

In double-direction thrust ball bearings, there are three rings with the middle one (center ring) being fixed to the shaft.
